Tim Wheeler’s first exhibited work was a selection of a pastel portrait of comic book figure Dick Tracy for a city-wide student exhibit in the third grade.
Tim reconnected with visual arts during a hockey sojourn to Belgium in 1975. A year of classical drawing studdies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, meetings with local artists and multiple work sessions at the Masereel Graphicss Centre in Kasterlee, Belgium, led to love the graphic power of drawing.
Since 1976, various individual and group shows in Belgium, Russia and Canada, were opportunities to express ideas in colorful figurative yet abstract style.
