Hooded Cobra Commander was first available as a mail-in offer in 1984. Never released in stores, Hooded Cobra Commander was available mail-order between 1984 and 1990. In 1992 and 1993, he was available as the mystery figure included with the Collector’s Kit. Hooded Cobra Commander was finally discontinued in 1994 when the entire G.I.Joe line was discontinued.
